How to pop a pimple yourself, according to Dr. Pimple Popper’s tips
Insider producer Celia Skvaril video chatted with Dr. Sanda Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, to get her professional advice on how to pop a pimple at home. While Lee doesn’t recommend that people pop their own pimples, pimple popping is a habit that many struggle to quit. With much of the world staying at home, people aren’t seeing their dermatologists and estheticians regularly and may be fighting a higher-than-usual urge to pick at their skin. Lee offered her tips on how to best minimize the risk of scarring and further infection when popping your own pimples, like attempting to pop only superficial whiteheads and properly sterilizing the pimple and tools both before and after popping. Following Lee’s tips, Celia attempted to pop her own whitehead at home. For more from Dr. Pimple Popper, visit: https://slmdskincare.com/ https://www.instagram.com/drpimplepopper/

In the video, Halle talks about how much she’s in love with the Flawless Cleanse Hydro-Vibrating Facial Cleanser which she says has”soft, soft” silicone bristles and a motor that vibrates to get your skin super clean.”It actually helps the dirt and oil become dislodged…at the same time, it protects your skin,” she says, before pointing out that it’s also”stinking cute.” (Worth noting: Halle doesn’t appear to be a paid spokesperson for the vibrating cleanser—she just really likes it.)
The former Bond girl explains that she’ll use regular cleanser or a scrub with the Hydro-Vibrating Facial Cleanser—she just wets the vibrating cleanser and puts her scrub on top. Then, she puts it on a high vibration and uses it on her face.”This feels so good…so stinking good, and it’s so gentle,” Halle says as she cleans.”It’s like giving your face a hug.” She takes the power down a notch as she goes, ending up on the lowest setting. Finally, she wipes off her cleanser with a warm wash cloth.
“Boom. You have a healthy amount of blood flow to your face, a nice shine to it, and healthy-looking skin,” she concludes.
JIC you’re wondering, you don’t have to break the bank to get Halle Berry-level skin. The Flawless Cleanse Hydro-Vibrating Facial Cleanser is currently $40 at Amazon>>>P.
That’s not all Halle does to keep her skin glowing. The Catwoman alum told Extra that she’s big on drinking bone broth.”It’s so full of collagen that it’s crazy,” she said. She also focuses on living a clean lifestyle, telling InStyle that she doesn’t smoke or drink.”I think a lot of how you look is about how you live,” she said.”I’ve never smoked or indulged in alcohol or drugs. Those are things that show up on your face over the years.”
And, of course, she moisturizes and uses sunscreen regularly.”As a busy mother, I don’t have a lot of time, so I usually just cleanse and moisturize twice a day and always wear sunscreen,” she told InStyle.
