Taking it to TikTok, Hannah Gaiger explained how to bag items for cheaper the next time you visit the high street retailer.

Rocking a white sleeveless bodysuit and a pair of denim bottoms, Hannah explained that for this money-saving trick to work fellow fashion lovers will need to first install the H&M app on their phone.

”When you go in store, get the label and then scan the label,” she said.

This, she explained, will take you to the brand’s website where you can compare the price.

”And quite often online it’s cheaper – and then they will match it in the store.”

The same also works the other way around, when the garment or accessory retails for more online than in one of the many stores across the world.

Hannah also revealed another trick to look out for when shopping at H&M – this works for clothing pieces that have been returned but are no longer in stock.

Showing off a new trendy, light beige trench coat she had purchased the very same day, Hannah said she was able to bag it for £25 – even though the price tag had £39.99 written on it.

”What happens is that when they get returns and they don’t actually have the stock in store, they discount it.

”Unreal – you get discounted H&M stuff.”

The fashion lover said she used these tricks whenever she went shopping at H&M and in one instance was even able to walk home with a £25 coat – which went for £60 online.

But despite the hack, which viewers thanked her for, there were a few who claimed this didn’t work.

”They wont match it at the store, i asked once and they said online and store prices differ, u have to buy online [sic],” claimed someone.

An ex-employee of the fashion retailer added: ”I used to work at H&M for yearsss but this was 3 year ago and they didn’t match them [sic].
