In the past couple of years, key Fashion Week shows from London and Paris, to Milan and New York, have gone on-line as a result of the COVID pandemic. But now Decentraland’s debut Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW) is taking virtual fashion to the next level.
Yahoo presents a unique immersive experience at MVFW (from 24-27 March) known as ‘The Initiation: a Charli Cohen x RSTLSS Collection’ which you can book tickets for here. This collaboration follows our success with similar events at New York Fashion Week last year.
So, what exactly will you do in our innovative, new VR experience? First, you’re invited to explore a mysterious alien artefact that has smashed into the virtual world of Electric/City DCL (our online venue space) and view the latest Charli Cohen x RSTLSS clothing line.
Then once you’ve had your virtual fashion fix, you can teleport yourself to our rooftop for a live coded music set by artist and producer DJ_Dave who is, in fact, a cool blonde fashionista and definitely not your typical ‘Dave’. The event kicks off at 12pm UTC on 24 March and ends at 11pm UTC 27 March.
