Formula Overview

$7.50/0.1 oz. – $75.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to be “lightweight” with “high pigment” that is “comfortable” and “long-wear[ing].” It is a semi-loose eyeshadow formula that has an eclosed plastic “stopper” that can be used to press and compact the “looser” eyeshadow into a denser, more solidified form.

These are not true loose eyeshadows, as they had a lot more binder, were heavier (so they didn’t just poof! into the air upon opening), and perform more like a loosely-pressed eyeshadow than a true loose eyeshadow. They worked well applied with a dry brush, but they were particularly smooth and metallic when applied with a dampened brush or fingertip. There was light fallout with some shades when applied dry.

Most shades had opaque color payoff in one layer, while some had semi-opaque, buildable coverage. The semi-loose nature of the product meant it was easier to use a lighter hand to get sheerer, more buildable coverage if desired. The powder felt smooth, lightly creamy, and had some glide to it when I applied with a fingertip. Some shades could have been a bit creamier for better dry application compared to some of the best formulas I’ve tried in this form.

The eyeshadows adhered evenly to bare skin and lasted for eight to nine hours on me with little to no fallout over time (more sparkly shades tended to have a bit of fallout over time).
