Breakout music star Olivia Rodrigo, 19, just became the first celeb to grace makeup and skincare brand Glossier’s socials.
-
She shared some of her thoughts on her skincare approaches on Instagram this week.

“The way I feel best is when I’m in makeup that accentuates my natural features and makes me glowy,” she said.
Olivia Rodrigo’s skin is simply flawless, so it only makes sense that she’d eventually become a spokesperson for a beauty brand. The 19-year-old exceeded expectations this week, inking a brand new deal with Glossier to become the brand’s very first celebrity spokesperson. Love to see it, Olivia!
The Grammy-winning singer announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, and even shared a few thoughts on how she approaches her skincare. “The way I feel best is when I’m in makeup that accentuates my natural features and makes me glowy—when it enhances what I have naturally,” she says in the video.
“Before, I’d let people do the craziest things, like hot pink lipstick and crazy eyelashes. But as I grow, I learn what I feel comfortable in, and I’m willing to advocate for that.”
One fan captured what everyone is thinking in the comments: “my two favorite things in one place, glossier and liv.”
Olivia also shared that winged eyeliner is her “favorite thing in the world.”
To celebrate the new collab, Glossier has put together a makeup set of “Olivia’s Favorites” (WANT). The kit kicks off with the brand’s Boy Brow brow pomade.
“I love a good eyebrow,” Olivia says. “I always feel best when I’m in makeup that kind of just accentuates my natural features.”
The kit includes Glossier’s Ultralip, a glossy lipstick that comes in nine different colors and which the brand describes as “the (cashmere) sweatpants of lipstick.” This lipstick, Olivia says, “makes me feel glowy and shiny.”
To ace that winged eyeliner, Olivia reaches for Glossier’s Pro Tip liquid eyeliner. “I think I’m getting better at my winged eyeliner game,” she says. “I just try to do it every day and statistically, I have to have improved at least a little.”
Glossier shared a BTS breakdown of everything Olivia has on in the campaign, and there’s all kinds of good stuff in the mix:
The “Driver’s License” singer/songwriter previously told Vogue that she likes to keep her makeup simple. “Less is more with skincare a lot of the time,” she said. “My skin is alright. I am a teenager…I cannot expect to have perfect skin all the time. It’s pretty good, all things considered, but I definitely have my moments.”
Before she gets that makeup on though, the pop star makes sure to clean and moisturize her face.
Olivia told Vogue that she loves the Epionce Milky Lotion Cleanser to wash her face. Before she started using it, she said she had “the worst case” of dermatitis. “I just broke out all around my mouth. It was awful,” she added. “I think I was just wearing masks a lot and also I was using a bunch of products that irritated my skin.”
After that, she uses The Ordinary Serum, followed by First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30. “This is the BB cream that I always use,” she said. “I just sort of like to keep it really natural and glowy.”
Olivia tops that off with Glossier’s Stretch Concealer, which she says “goes on like butter,” Boy Brow, which she calls “the most iconic Glossier product,” and Pro Tip eyeliner. “It doesn’t drop and it doesn’t smudge,” she said of the eyeliner. “It also has a really great applicator.”
