Fashion Week El Paseo 2022 was the perfect venue for the Girlfriend Factor‘s annual “Little Black Dress” event, sponsored by El Paseo Jewelers.
Tables filled with auction items, raffle prizes and gifts attracted hundreds of eager participants, with all proceeds benefiting Girlfriend Factor, a local 5031(c)(3) dedicated to educating local woman.
The organization’s motto is: “If you want to change the world, educate a woman.”
Founded by Joan Busick, Girlfriend Factor provides renewable educational grants and emotional support to adult women looking to change their lives with education and mentoring. To date, the organization has supported more than 180 women with $700,000 in grants.
In addition to “Little Black Dress,” Girlfriend Factor holds various fundraisers throughout the year to support its mission.
