34-year-old global megastar Rihanna continues to shine like a diamond as the singer is now the youngest woman to be named on Forbes’ annual self-made women list, snatching away a title once bestowed to “The Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner.
The “Diamonds” singer is now sitting at a net worth of $1.4 billion.
Appearing at number 21 on the coveted list, the Barbados-born singer’s earnings have made her the wealthiest female musician in the world, where the outlet estimated her net worth of $1.4 billion comes mostly from her cosmetics ventures and then music.
The singer made her start in music, but for the past few years, according to Forbes, the majority of her earnings come from her money-maker brands Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty. Rihanna owns 50% of Fenty Beauty, which reportedly brought in $550 million in 2020. She also owns a 30% stake in her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty.
Now with a new baby in tow, you’d be crazy to think the “Work” singer plans to slow her reign.
“I never thought I’d make this much money, so a number is not going to stop me from working,” Rihanna told the New York Times in 2019. “The money means I can take care of my family. The money means I can facilitate the businesses that I want to. I can create jobs for other people.”
The beauty mogul is the only billionaire under the age of 40 on the list, surpassing the next youngest billionaire on the Forbes list – Jenner’s older sister, 41-year-old Kim Kardashian – who has a net worth of $1.8 billion.
