What Makeup Brands Make You Feel Nostalgic?

All the feels!

In the comments yesterday, Nina and I (hey, Nina!) were being chatting about division retail store brand names from again in the day. I bought to contemplating about all the elegance brand names at the counters in the shopping mall that make me feel nostalgic. I have so several good recollections of going for walks into the New Park Mall in Newark and observing all the lovely, glittering products and solutions displayed at Macy’s.

My favorites back then were being Clinique, MAC and Prescriptives… Try to remember Prescriptives? I wore their foundation and powder for a couple many years. I was all about their fragrance Calyx, way too.

I also favored popping by Origins for their body products and solutions and Estee Lauder for their perfumes.

When I imagine of Clinique, I recall the Clinique counter that was in the bookstore at my university in Davis. Yup, you could pop in for an organic chemistry e book and fork out for it at the Clinique counter just as prolonged as you bought some make-up or pores and skin care. I’d stock up on my favorites: a taupe pencil liner (I would like I could bear in mind the identify, ugh!), Black Honey lipstick (the OG), free powder and a taupe eyeshadow referred to as Fawn Satin.

If I wished to seize lipstick or lip liner from MAC, I’d have to drive to Sacramento to the Arden Reasonable shopping mall. I still try to remember the little tiny counter tucked in the corner and getting a tube of Paramount lipstick and Mahogany liner.
